Spiral, circular movements – the location of the place. Mark a place on the map, search, find.

My dimension, which becomes a transition to the next dimension.

The search. I have so much to lose, so much to care for. With a gentle gesture, I create a dark background for our journey.

I’m subtly preparing to jump into the abyss.

I slip in search of the right place, think and long for it, create a fantasy that comes true.

So gentle, with so much affection and care. There’s an increasing aggression coming out of me that’s slowly coming out of trance. No one noticed that jump, it’s so delicate.

I gracefully transform myself into a demon skinned in the naked truth. Triggered by acceptance. I only see and feel emotions in me and in me. In this chaotic and balanced trance of searching for oneself.

A journey between worlds.

An invitation to the inner part of ourselves, an invitation to our worries. 

A chance to welcome your fears, hug them and say goodbye.

Feel your energy.

What is alive in you, and what dies in you?

Feel the energy of the people around you.

What did you bring here? What did the others bring?

What do you want to get rid of? What are you gonna leave here?

Collective releasing and healing.


Artist through a symbolic ritual, incarnates energy, will get rid of what needs to be avoided. 

Step with us into a room full of the sound of Velge Naturlig.

Through a shaman, our thoughts and feelings become material. Our worries and fears – our stones from the heart with tenderness in a ritual act are thrown down and sacrificed.


During the performance we will sit on the floor. To feel comfortable, you can bring a blanket/pillow.


Duration: 1h


Set:

Circle in the middle of the main room in OKNa. Circle circumference filled with peat/earth. The spotlight illuminates the wheel. In the circle are the individual items:

-Energy container, Ceramic urn 65 cm high,

-Ceramic bowl 30 cm

-beetroot ice cube

-tools

On the wall hangs a painting in size 3mx 2m.

In the right corner is Ivo’s station. Around the circle are carpets and rugs, people are sitting on it.


Scenario:

1. Ivo starts playing, people gather. I’m wearing a lion costume. I place stones behind the audience and close the other wheel. I’m giving scraps of paper to people and something to write about. I’ll write the questions on the painting. I begin to move, to stretch, to dance, to prepare my body to accommodate the intentions of people. I collect papers from people.

2. I go to my circle. I’m pulling down the lion’s mane. I’ll burn all the cards. I put ashes on my face.

3. I go into the bowl, pour water from the carafe into the bowl. I meditate with my reflection, I shed my fears, the fears of people, the water absorbs all information. I drink water. I’m observing what is happening..

4. I go to the energy container and cut open my costume with a small dagger. Scratches off my “skin” (skin colored acrylic paint) This layer is already under the costume. By whispering my intentions into the skin fragments, I cast it into the urn. I’ll close the urn and tie it with a rope.

5. I cut up my costume, it only stays in my underwear. I’m approaching the beetroot ice cube. Here the music should be a little different. I’m picking an ice cube up, I’m getting up, I’m looking in the eye of everyone, I’m closing mine and I’m dropping it on the floor. I’m melting the ice on my body.

6. I finish the performance without saying a word and leave everything in chaos. I’m going to the bathroom to wash and get dressed. Meanwhile, Ivo plays the sound from the wireless speaker in the urn. People can approach and listen to the words with the energy container.

The end. After 20/30 minutes, I clean everything up.
