drawing as an act of presence 

In this project I decided to use tape as a drawing material and as a 3D material and object.

allowing me by the repetitions of the same gesture, a capture in the literal sense, of the tree here present.

I chose this tree by the circumference of its trunk being exactly the same as that of my arm, forcing me to a nearness, forced and repeated necessary, my face and my whole body is devoted to drawing itself.

Which ends when the roll of my tape is wrapped around the tree.

A cut in his center and his scalp belong to me. His synthetic skin belongs to me.

the process is more important than the final result, my presence, the act "of drawing" is my presence
